OFFICIAL CAMPING 2009 -

The Official Campsite will be Fully Serviced with Toilets and 24 Hour Security. A Shuttle Bus will operate between the Official Campsite and the local GAA Grounds which will be open each day between 8am & 2pm and also between 5pm & 9pm for Shower Facilities.

The Campsite will be in close proximity to the Town Centre with Catering Facilities available for Campsite occupants. A Bus will be available to take Campsite Residents to the Town Centre at times advertised at the Campsite Security Office. (Only those wearing Camping Wristbands can use the Bus Service. The Bus fee is €2 euro per trip, payable to the Driver of the Bus).

The Cost to Camp on the Official Campsite is just €25 euro per person for the Festival duration. (Please note that the Campsite is VERY reasonable).

PLEASE NOTE: That you must register upon arrival at the Festival Office opposite O'Neill's Next Door Off Licence, East Port Road, Ballyshannon, where you will receive your Campsite Wrist-band and Pass. (One wrist-band per person only).

Directions to the Campsite will be available at the Festival Office or otherwise follow the sign posts. A Bus will be available to take you to the Campsite from the Festival Office. No Person will gain entry to the Campsite without having an Official Wristband. Therefore, remember to make the Festival Office your first port of call.

PLEASE NOTE: That Unauthorised Camping in Public Parks, Quays etc. will be Strictly Prohibited in Ballyshannon. Official Festival Security have the right to ask illegal campers to leave Prohibited Areas.

PLEASE NOTE: That the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival condemns the use of illegal Drugs. Any type of Anti-Social behaviour will not be accepted.

Camping Price Policy:

PLEASE NOTE: That it is the same price to Camp for 1 night as it is for 2 nights, 3 nights or 4 nights, i.e. €25. This price policy is in line with other similar Festival arrangements throughout Ireland, as set-out by the Association of Festival and Events in Ireland (AOIFE). We believe that €25 per person for the duration of the Festival is VERY reasonable.
